Equest is a dynamic facility that utilizes over 400 volunteers a week to create a safe and effective environment for our clients and horses. We encourage you to become a partner with us as we look to the future.
Adults and teenagers who are interested in assisting children and adults with disabilities are invited to participate in our therapeutic horsemanship programs. The minimum age requirement to volunteer in the program is 14 years of age.
Facility and Barn Volunteer Work is available for ages 12 and up.
Trained Program volunteers can assist with the horses, riding classes, and physical therapy sessions. All trained volunteers can assist with facility and stable improvements, general barn chores, administrative office work, and special events such as horse shows and fundraising events.
