Alexandra House has relied on the work of volunteers to provide essential services to victims of domestic and sexual violence since 1977.

On-Call Hospital Advocates work with healthcare and law enforcement to provide support and information to victims who have experienced domestic or sexual violence on site at Mercy and Unity Hospital.

Volunteers must be 18+ years old, females only, complete mandatory 50-hour training that prepares individuals for the challenges of direct-service volunteering, and ideally live within 30 minutes of Mercy and Unity Hospitals.

To sign up for this training, complete the online volunteer application at: http://www.alexandrahouse.org/how-you-can-help/volunteer-opportunities or contact contact our Volunteer Services Coordinator, Mollie Ziebart at 763-795-5452 or mziebart@alexandrahouse.org

A mandatory information meeting will be held on Monday, March 10.

The training is four (4) weeks in length with meetings usually on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and includes two full Saturdays.

To receive updates on training and volunteer opportunities, please complete the Individual Volunteer Application at www.alexandrahouse.org, under the involvement tab.
