ORGANIZATION: Tomorrow's Black Men

We are looking for individuals interested in speaking on our behalf to local businesses, civic clubs, churches and schools.

Volunteers will make presentations to area schools and community organizations about TBM’s Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship, local, state and federal programs and other resources that can be used to assist students finance their future educational goals.

Volunteers are also need to share personal and professional experiences with community youth groups as well as Inform individuals and groups of how they can get involved with TBM

If you enjoy speaking in front of groups of people, care about education and want to create awareness of educational and scholarship programs geared to help high school students achieve success in their future academic endeavors, this is the volunteer program is for you.

Mission Statement

The mission of Tomorrow's Black Men is to make a positive difference in the lives of troubled and at risk young males. By helping them to raise their standards of living, we wish to introduce and help reinforce the positive morals and values needed to equip these young men, thus enabling them to not only accept but to overcome the challenges that lie ahead of them. We will accomplish this through a professionally supported relationship with caring adults and responsible peers. Today's Black Men, are tomorrow's leaders, and we are committed to preparing them for that responsibility by providing guidance and structured programs that will enable them to become productive individuals thus promoting professional and personal growth.

Description

Tomorrow's Black Men works with troubled and at risk young males by offering educational assistance, technical training, and family strengthening programs. It is our goal to give the individual the needed tools to overcome the challenges that stem from lack of education, job skills and financial instability.
