We are looking for volunteers who love history, and are passionate about accurate information and great storytelling.
Greet visitors to the Clear Creek History Park in Golden and take them on a short walking tour of the Pearce Homestead Ranch and Guy Hill Schoolhouse. This is the one opportunity that most visitors will have to go inside the historic buildings at the Park. Volunteers must be able to navigate trails and hilly terrain. Ramps are available into buildings. Tours will occur at 1:00 on Saturday afternoons. Volunteers sould plan to be available from 12:30 to 2:30 on Saturdays, at least once a month.

Description
Three unique venues are administered by Golden History Museum & Park. Astor House Museum is a 1867 hotel/boarding house in the heart of Golden. Golden History Park is a scenic outdoor venue including original log cabins, a one room school house, and other buildings moved to Golden from near-by Golden Gate Canyon. Golden History Museum is a traditional gallery museum on the banks of Clear Creek.
