Can’t get enough of lifting furniture?

Then the ReStore is the place for you! Come join our Volunteer Team at the ReStore and work in the Donation Center! The Donation Center is the heart of the store. This is where all the donations come in and get prepared to be sold. So lots of lifting and moving awesome furniture!

In the Donation Center you will help take in donations, process them to be sold (clean and price), stock donations on the sales floors, assist customers, and help with other tasks and projects as needed. The great thing about working in the Donation Center is that there is a great variety in tasks, you will be working with lots of other volunteers, you will be moving around a lot, and you will get to see all the new, cool donations as they arrive.


What is ReStore?

ReStore accepts donations of new and gently used building materials, furniture, home decor, and more. These donations are sold at the fraction of the retail cost and the proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity. For more information visit: http://milwaukeehabitat.org/about/mission-vision/

Description

Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing by working alongside future homeowners and volunteers to build and rehab simple, decent and affordable houses. Milwaukee Habitat also two donation-driven retail stores called the ReStores.

All proceeds from ReStore sales benefit Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity's mission of building simple, decent and affordable homes in partnership with families in need. The ReStore is stocked exclusively with donated items such as new and used furniture, appliances, kitchen cabinets, building materials and other home goods.
