We are looking for individuals to help out at our monthly Bingo game for our nursing home residents. We will provide all the supplies, you can provide a set of helping hands to sit with a resident and help them cover the numbers on their card.

Games are scheduled the 4th Wednesday morning of each month.

Volunteers at Greenewood Manor must complete a volunteer application (see our facility page) and pass a background check prior to volunteering. Please use the "I want to help" button to contact Amy Shade for more details.

Greenewood Manor has a long history of providing excellent care to our residents, who currently range in age from 46-106. We provide skilled nursing care and rehab stays for residents with a wide variety of diagnosis and abilities.

Description

Greenewood Manor is a non-profit skilled nursing facility. We offer skilled and intermediate 24 hour nursing care, as well as supportive living and respite care options for individuals seeking assistance on either a short term or long term basis. Greenewood Manor is owned and operated by the Greene County Board of Commissioners.

All potential volunteers must submit a Volunteer Application, a signed waiver form, pass a background check, and complete a Volunteer Orientation Session/ Interview prior to working with our residents. Volunteers under the age of 18 will be required to present a certified copy of their birth certificate at the time of their interview. Groups coming in to provide one-time entertainment may have different requirements- contact Amy Shade for details.
