Some have no age requirements (but require the permission of your guardian/parent) --- while others do. Some require little time commitment -- while others require more.

The information listed in this page is ONLY a summary of our Volunteer positions -- "Please Read #4" below to learn more about the positions.

COMMUNITY HOURS: Letter ONLY provided for some In-person Opportunities BUT if you do a "drive" for Kennel Supplies, Pennies for RHR Fundraiser or a Garage/Tag Sale at your school/church/community center you could have someone LOCAL be a Coordinator of your hours. Also see the BIKE, WALK, JOG, HIKE OR RUN (Exercise and record your miles for free $$).

Cleaning kennels, walking and feeding the dogs and puppies. Minimum age is 18 years old or must be accompanied by an adult.

OTHER IDEAS YOU MIGHT CONSIDER:

1. Other ideas found on the internet --- Dodgeball Tournament:Collect a registration fee from teams and sell tickets. You can earn extra money by having a concession stand. Baby Photo Contest:Have participants display their baby pictures and collect $1 votes for the cutest baby. Big Losers: Participants are sponsored for every pound they lose, and donate the money they raise. Frisbee Golf Tournament: Collect entrance fees. Buck-a-Pound: Participants pay $1 for every pound they lose and $2 for every pound they gain in weekly weigh-ins. Cook-off: Invite guests to compete for bragging rights as you charge guests to come and sample and vote for the best. Pancake Breakfast: Host a public breakfast, charging a set fee for the meal. Bowl-A-Thon: Collect pledges and bowl a set number of games. Benefit Concert: Get a popular band or group of bands to sign on to donate a portion (or all) of the ticket proceeds. Potluck Days: Have participants bring their favorite dish along with copies of the recipe and charge each person to eat lunch or dinner.Comedy Night: Have a comedian perform.
