We need volunteers for setup/takedown, reststops, and registration. Setup will be the night before on Sept 18th from 4-8p and we will need volunteers from 10-3 on Sat Sept 19th
The Anchorage, Alaska De-Feet Diabetes Trail Run will be held on September 19, 2015 at Kincaid Outdoor Center. Here at the American Diabetes Association we try to please our volunteers and clients, so after many request, we retooled our Step Out walk to be a run! De-Feet Diabetes Trail Run will allow runners of all different skill levels participate in a timed 5K around Kincaid. Trails will be marked with multiple rest stops and cheering squads to keep everyone motivated. As well as the run, walkers, will be encourage to participate following the 5K runners, or with a 1K "Family Route" available for all walkers who aren’t up for the 5K challenge.
Runners and Walkers will still enjoy a live DJ, performances, catered lunch, goodie bags, rest stops and great excitement!
