The Lyme Disease Resource Center, Inc. of Northampton, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is looking to add talented individuals with strong leadership qualities to its Board of Directors. The Lyme Disease Resource Center’s mission is to be a peer guided, supportive and safe place for those living with Lyme Disease, and their care partners, sharing strategies and resources for living well. We offer support groups, benefit consultations, and referrals to other organizations as needed. We provide validation to our clients and education to those in the community.

Qualifications:

-A strong supporter of our organization’s mission

-Ability to attend monthly board meetings as well as periodic fundraising or related meetings

-Effective interpersonal relationship skills, including, but not limited to, leadership and communication skills

-Fundraising experience desirable, but not required


*** Must be able to attend monthly board meetings. Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of each month, from 6pm-8pm in the Northampton, MA area. Commitment as a board member is a 2 year term ***
