There are hundreds of miles of trails within the Greenway, many of which see more foot, biker and/or equestrian traffic than they were originally created to sustain. As a result these trails are in much need of attention and maintenance. The Little Si trail is one of the most hiked trails in the state. It was established as a Natural Resources Conservation Area (NRCA) in 1987, the first in Washington State. This designation protects the land from development as well as providing recreational opportunities. The Greenway Trust has worked on this trail since 2002. Join us as we work to maintain and improve trail drainage, reducing erosion, and cutting back overgrown brush on the trails around Mount Si and Little Si.
