Join us and volunteer to support local athletes with intellectual disabilities as they compete in bowling.
Volunteers will assist with a variety of tasks such as set/up and take/down, handing out awards, monitoring the lanes, assisting athletes as needed and bowling alongside the athletes. No experience is needed to volunteer!
All volunteers must sign-in at event registration to be assigned a task.
If a volunteer needs special accommodations, please notify the individuals at registration to be placed doing a task that fits your needs.
Please dress comfortably and appropriately. Please leave valuable items in your vehicle or at home. Special Olympics is not responsible for these items.

Special Olympics is an international organization that changes lives by promoting understanding, acceptance, and inclusion between people with and without intellectual disabilities.
Special Olympics is the world's largest public health organization serving people with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics Louisiana offers over 100 sporting events and training camps to accommodate the wide range of athletic interests demonstrated by its athletes. Athletes are divided to compete against others of similar gender, age, and ability. Special Olympics Louisiana does not charge a fee to athletes (or their families) to train or compete.
