ORGANIZATION: Habitat for Humanity of Orange County ReStore

Are you the one who could take our social media presence to the next level? Habitat for Humanity of Orange County is looking for a passionate, energetic, and talented marketing volunteer to help us better engage our online community.

Your role will involve developing updates related to our cause and optimizing content to grow our community most effectively, across multiple networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, OfferUp and more. The social media and marketing volunteer will promote Habitat OC ReStore events, advertise Habitat OC ReStore product, and maintain and grow social media pages.

Our ideal volunteer will bring: strong writing skills; attention to detail; a passion for content creation; a positive attitude and strong work ethic; experience using social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Bonus if you have experience and are proficient in photo and video editing.

Plus, you will get to join a fun, passionate team working for an important cause - and build your own skills and network in the process.

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore - The Home Improvement Store That Builds Homes - is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used home furnishings and building materials to the public seven days a week at discounted prices. Donations arrive every day and it's a whole new store with each donation! The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is proudly owned and operated by Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending substandard housing and building strong communities in Orange County. We partner with local businesses, community organizations, faith communities, cities and volunteers to build simple, decent, affordable homes for purchase by qualified families in need of a hand-up.
