Road to Recovery volunteers
Volunteers provide a valuable service to cancer patients through the American Cancer Society Road to Recovery program.

For Cancer patients, getting to and from treatment can be a tough challenge. The American Cancer Society needs volunteers to provide rides to treatment for people in your community.

Volunteer drivers must

-Be between ages 18 and 35

- Have a valid driver’s license for the state they will be driving in

- A properly working vehicle.

-Vehicle insurance

-Pass an over the phone screening, background check, Motor vehicle check

- Complete a quick and easy online training

This program provides not only life-saving rides to treatment but also a solid foundation of support for people in need of help. signing up is easy and driving is rewarding. We ask our volutneer drivers to provide a few rides a month miniumum to our local hospitals. Be part of one of the largest voluntary health organizations in the world and join the fight against cancer!
