We are looking for volunteers to lead a group exercise class or Wellness activity. The activity may need to be modified to accomodate individuals that have some cognitive or physical disabilities as all of our members have some type of brain injury or stroke. These are younger adults so we want things to be lively and hip. Adaptive yoga, chair exercise, modified dance are examples of what we are looking for. We are open to creativity so please inquire if you have ideas!
Wellness could include activities or education in health, nutrition, meditation and so on.
We are open from 9:00 to 3:00 p.m. The activities would be 30-60 minutes in length at 10:00 a.m., 10:30, 11:00, 1:00, 1:30 or 2:00 p.m.
For more information about our organization, please see our website. Thank you!
