ORGANIZATION: Synapse House

  • 14 people are interested

We are looking for volunteers to work directly with our members at our Clubhouse Program. The Clubhouse Program is based on the idea that individuals regain skills through the actual work of running the organization. The individuals do need assistance to complete these jobs. Sometimes its something as simple as opening a Word document for them, other times, more complex by organizing the task and giving out one step at a time.

This is a great opportunity for students looking to go into healthcare fields to gain valuable experience in working with all types of disabilities.

We are currently open Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays so volunteers would be needed anytime from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00. As our membership grows, we will be open on Mondays & Fridays. Volunteers can assist for one hour or up to 5 hours.
