Patient care may include providing companionship through conversation, sharing a smile, reading aloud, reminiscing, watching movies or television, journaling, or even just holding their hand. Other duties help alleviate stress for the caregiver such as giving them time to run errands like grocery shopping and trips to the pharmacy.
