ORGANIZATION: Encompass Community Services

Be the first person to greet SCAP clients and community members in the SCAP office and by phone. Create a compassionate, confidential, and safe environment for those who walk through SCAP's doors; assist clients and community members in effectively receiving information and services; be a resource to SCAP's staff and other volunteers.

Job Duties:

  • Greet and direct clients and community members enterig SCAP
  • Respond to phone calls to SCAP and direct to appropriate staff
  • Answer general questions about SCAP's services, including HIV and Hep C testing
  • Take clients to food pantry and ensure their complience to SCAP's rules
  • Assist staff with special projects and office work as necessary

Requirements:

  • Must work at least one four-hour shift per week, on a set schedule
  • Minimum three-month committment

At Encompass Community Services we provide our community with a wide range of services related to family & social well-being, early childhood education, behavioral health, housing and more. Every day through these services we work to make health, education and housing more equitable for all people in Santa Cruz County. For more than 40 years our work has touched generations by helping people have access to education, rebuild relationships, restore their health and regain dignity
