Assist at PETCO Adoption Events - A New Beginning (ANB) Feline Rescue is an all volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to saving stray, abandon and abused cats and kittens. All of our rescues are kept in Foster Homes and made available for adoption through our web site and other pet adoption sites such as Petfinder. We also hold Adoption Events at PETCO Hampton, VA 2 times a month. We are looking for volunteers to help at the PETCO Adoption Events. These events are usually scheduled on Sunday afternoons. They last approximately 4 hours including set-up and closing. Volunteers sit with the cats, greet the public, and answer questions about the kitties. There is usually time during the event to pet, groom & play with the kitties. A senior volunteer will always be present at the event. Letters to certify volunteer time worked will be provided when requested.

Our mission is finding forever homes for felines. Our efforts include rescue and rehabilitation of abandon, stray and abused cats and kittens. We provide education and guidance to the public on issues relating to the care of felines including the benefits of spay/neuter. We are commited to provide continued support to families who adopt from us.
Description
A New Beginning Feline (ANB) Rescue, INC is an all volunteer non-profit organization which rescues and finds home for stray, abandoned and abused cats and kittens. All of our rescues are housed in Foster Homes where they recieve personal attention from our volunteers. We make our kitties available for adoption through our web site, vairous adoption web cistes such as Petfinder and by our partenrship with PETCO. Families wishing to adopt may contact us directly and visit the animals in the foster homes. We also hold adoption events at the PETCO Hampton, VA store.
