Our Store is booming and we need some great people to guarantee a smile on our customer's faces as they walk out that door.

Mission:

Our ReStores raise funds to help Habitat for Humanity build affordable homes in the Portland/Vancouver area. And, we keep usable materials out of the waste stream and into home building, remodeling and creative arts projects.

Supervision and Support Plan:

This position requires a ReStore orientation and training by a staff member, and will take place on site during scheduled shift. Cashier will report directly to the Assistant Manager of the store, and additional support will be provided by the Store Manager as needed.

Outcome/Goals

? To help foster a great shopping experience by providing excellent customer service

? To manage the front end in the event a staff member is unavailable.

? To help ensure accurate sales numbers that will allow the ReStores to adequately track growth

of sales, and measure materials being kept out of the landfills.

Responsibilities/Duties

?To understand the mission of Habitat for Humanity, the ReStore, and be willing to communicate to others

To be a courteous and professional representative of Habitat

?To effectively operate the cash register, and properly communicate issues as they arise

? Assist the staff with maintaining an organized customer service counter

? Must be comfortable communicating with various individuals of all backgrounds

? Must be courteous and professional

? No previous experience necessary, we can train individuals who are willing and interested.
