It is time to sign up for our ABWK Blitz!! Join us August 11-15, along with hundreds of other volunteers from your community, and see what a difference just one day makes. Sign up at http://abwkblitz.cvhabitat.volunteerhub.com or email volunteer@cvhabitat.org to reserve volunteer slots for a group of five or more. Volunteers must be at least 16.
ABWK or A Brush With Kindness is our owner occupied, exterior repair program to help homeowners in Wellington Heights. Through this program, you can help a home owner make the exterior repairs that they need to make their house that they can be proud of. The work on an ABWK site can be painting, scraping, minor roofing and siding repairs, yardwork and much more. It’s a fun opportunity and a great way to get involved with Cedar Valley Habitat.

Description
Habitat is a helping hand, not a hand out. Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity is able to build decent, affordable housing in our area by using volunteer labor & donations of money and materials. When completed, a new unit is sold at no profit and no interest to a family whose low annual income excludes them from conventional financing. Principle payments are used to support more building and more families.
