At Home on the Sound is a grassroots, nonprofit group dedicated making life better for older adults in Larchmont & Mamaroneck, New York.
We are seeking a volunteer to handle development functions including:
- Log all donations into our database
- Generate acknowledgement letters for all donors on ongoing basis
- Create mailing lists for fundraising, event invitations and newsletters
- Analyze development data
Skills required:
- General knowledge of database information systems
- Proficient knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work proactively and with discretion
Hours:
Approximately one day per week, with substantially more time required in October and April for our annual appeal and gala.
At Home on the Sound is an aging-in-place organization that works to enable older residents of Larchmont and Mamaroneck to remain in the comfort of their own homes and community as they age. We arrange volunteer-provided transportation to appointments and errands; social programs; discussion groups; lectures; trips; discounts at local shops and restaurants; friendly phone calls; personalized support and more to our members.

At Home on the Sound is a non-profit, aging-in-place organization. We offer services, programs, transportation and support so older residents can remain in their own homes and enjoy active, engaged, independent lives in the Sound Shore communities of Larchmont and Mamaroneck, New York.
