Be part of the solution to creek pollution! All volunteers will get a free tshirt and have a chance to win a 55 gallon rain barrel! We’ll meet at the Monticello Trails Middle School for education and training, and learn about how litter affects our local, regional and global watershed. Then we will break off into groups and clean up litter near Clear Creek in Shawnee, KS. You will have the opportunity to remove litter from shallow water - wear your rubber boots!
We will provide all supplies. All volunteers must register in advance by completing online registration - click here www.tinyurl.com/July18Litter to sign up! Volunteers will receive an auto-email with more info after submitting online registration.

Bridging The Gap (BTG) educates citizens, businesses and governments about the impact their decisions have on our environment. We help them follow through with direct action to make our world, region and community green, healthy and sustainable.
BTG does this by working to create awareness of our environment and the need to make our communities sustainable at every level and in all life activities -- in homes, workplaces, schools and neighborhoods. In all of our work, we seek to create partnerships among governments, businesses, community leaders and individuals to improve our community by making it healthy and sustainable for our future.
