Women Living Well Ministries (WLWM) is dedicated to fulfilling the ministries' mission to encourage, develop, and support women as growing disciples of Jesus Christ.

We are seeking volunteers to join our Retreat Volunteer Team for our Women’s Spiritual Spa Retreat the weekend of Friday, October 2 nd and Saturday, October 3 rd at Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC.

We are in need of Volunteers to assist in the following areas:

• Sign-in/Registration

• Set-up/Clean-up

• Group Leaders (Women, who have a close, mature relationship with God, who are in the word & pray daily, to be the shepherds of our groups)

• Pray Warriors & Intercessors

• Greeters/Ushers (assist attendees to seating)

• Answer frequent questions (i.e. "Where are the restrooms?")

• Skit performers for afternoon teaching (preferably male volunteers)

• Coat checkers, servers to serve lunch, etc. (preferably male volunteers)

Serving on the Retreat Volunteer Team is an wonderful opportunity for an individual who has a gift and a passion for serving and who would like to assist with the development of further growing this organization with strengthening women growing in their faith, as well as, equipping and empowering women ministry leaders to fulfilling their call to building disciples of Jesus Christ.

The Retreat Volunteer position is a one-time opportunity where the volunteer must be available for the entire scheduled volunteer time (on October 2 nd & 3 rd) as well as attend a 2 hour Volunteer Training on Saturday, September 19 th from 9:30-11:30am.

The retreat is the evening of Friday, October 2 nd from 7:00-9:00pm and volunteers need to arrive no later than 6:30pm (WLWM will provide dinner for volunteers from 6:00-6:30 pm) & Saturday, October 3 rd from 8:30am-3:30pm and volunteers need to arrive at 8:00am and clean up should end up around 4:30pm.

Candidate must be at least 18 years or older to apply and will need to possess the following skills: dedication, punctuality, ability to assist with the behind the scene details, help set-up, break-down events & clean-up events, works as a team player, enjoys serving alongside volunteers and has compassion towards others.

Encouraged preferences: Have a strong biblical foundation and knowledge of the Bible and ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Volunteers are a vital part of every Women Living Well Ministries’ event. By volunteering you may be eligible for FREE registration to the event after fulfilling assigned duties/shifts.
