Calling all volunteers! We need help assembling boxes of supplies for our September countywide event, Coastal Cleanup Day. Volunteers will report to our office in Liberty Station to help us pack up bags, gloves and more for our 100 cleanup sites. Sign up for a full day or just a few hours--volunteer service forms will be available to all participants.
Organized locally by I Love A Clean San Diego (ILACSD), Coastal Cleanup Day is part of the statewide California Coastal Cleanup Day and International Coastal Cleanup, which has included over 150 countries and 9 million volunteers since its inception more than 30 years ago. Locally, the event successfully brings together roughly 7,500 volunteers, local businesses, community organizations and government agencies, all working towards the same goal: a cleaner and healthier San Diego.
Want to help out? Contact Moriah SaldaƱa at msaldana@cleansd.org or (619) 704-2782 to sign up for a shift... or two!
