Lack of transportation sometimes leaves cancer patients with few options for completing their treatment schedules. Road to Recovery is a service offered by the American Cancer Society in which volunteer drivers provide cancer patients transportation to and from their scheduled medical appointments.
We need a volunteer who has a heart for people and time during the work week to schedule volunteers to drive cancer patients to and from their treatments. Skills needed - good communication, organized, friendly, access to computer, Excel, email and calendaring.
This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to volunteer from home!
