Come be a part of our biggest events of the year!
Help us celebrate our 25th Anniversary and the important work of Deborah Madison and Catherine Sneed by volunteering at our Sustain Supper series . The dinners take place at our organic farm on Saturday, August 22nd and Saturday, September 19th, and we're hoping that volunteers will be able to commit to both dinners, if possible!
Volunteers are needed to help with setting up, parking, greeting and helping guests check in, assisting in the kitchen, pouring wine and other drinks, serving dinner and more! The events stretches from noon until 8:30pm, but volunteer shifts are broken into 4-5 hour blocks.
All volunteers will receive orientation on the day of the event.
Let us know if there's a specific volunteer role you'd like to fill. We're especially looking for folks with previous customer service, restaurant serving and kitchen experience, but this is not required! Volunteers must be over 18 years old, and wine servers must be 21.
This is a great way to experience and support these major fundraisers that allow our nonprofit to thrive and help others.
Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Jes Walton, if you're interested in volunteering: JesW@HomelessGardenProject.org.
