We would like to extend an invitation for you to volunteer with the American Brain Tumor Association. Join us for a day of celebration and commitment at the BT5K Dallas Breakthrough for Brain Tumors 5K Run & Walk, which will raise funds to support vital brain tumor research and desperately needed services for those living with a brain tumor diagnosis.
We are looking for enthusiastic, driven individuals (and groups!) to help make our BT5K Dallas event a huge success. Lend a hand out on the course, at the event site, with pre- or post-event activities, or in one of many other ways. And don’t worry...ABTA staff will be there to support you throughout the event.
You can find more information at www.bt5k.org and sign up here to volunteer! Please feel free to contact us at events@abta.org or 800-886-1281 with any questions. Thank you for your support!

Mission Statement
The mission of the American Brain Tumor Association is to advance the understanding and treatment of brain tumors with the goals of improving, extending and, ultimately, saving the lives of those impacted by a brain tumor diagnosis.
We do this through interactions and engagements with brain tumor patients and their families, collaborations with allied groups and organizations, and the funding of brain tumor research.
Description
Founded in 1973, the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) was the first national nonprofit organization dedicated solely to brain tumors. For over 40 years, the ABTA has been providing critical funding to researchers working toward breakthroughs in brain tumor diagnosis, treatment and care. We remain the only national organization providing comprehensive resources and serving the complex supportive care needs of brain tumor patients and their caregivers - from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
