Volunteering with French Quarter Festivals, Inc. is a great way to meet new people, have fun and support the musical heritage of New Orleans. There is a role for everyone at this year’s 15th Anniversary Satchmo SummerFest. Volunteers must be 16 and older and sign up via our comprehensive sign up page - http://fqfi.org/pages/detail/118/Volunteers. Shifts are roughly 4 hours in length, and volunteers receive a free commemorative T-Shirt, free admission and $10 in festival tickets to use. Come join in on the celebration! French Quarter Festivals, Inc. (FQFI) annually produces three festivals: French Quarter Festival, Satchmo SummerFest, and Christmas New Orleans Style. FQFI is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the Vieux Carré and the City of New Orleans through high quality special events and activities that showcase the culture and heritage of this unique city, contribute to the economic well being of the community, and instill increased pride in the people of New Orleans.
