Swimming Buddy for resident taking pool arthritus movement class in the shallow end of the pool

Help a resident of Pathway Homes increase her flexibility and decrease the pain of arthritus by joining her at the Oak Marr Rec Center for the arthritus movement classes she signed up for.
Resident knows how to swim but sometimes has trouble following instructions provided by the swim teacher. The class will be large (12-20 people) so the teacher has requested that she have a friendly person who can join her in the water to help if she gets confused with what the teacher is telling her to do or gets distracted.
Help a resident enjoy and benefit from this class meant to releive the tension of arthritus.
The class takes place on Tuesdays and Thursday from 11:00am-12noon.

Pathway Homes is a non-profit organization providing non-time-limited housing and support services to adults with mental illness. Pathways serves individuals throughout Fairfax County, the City of Fairfax, the City of Falls Church, Prince William County and Arlington.
