CicLAvia seeks volunteers to assist at our CicLAvia - Culver City meets Venice open streets event on Sunday August 9th.
Volunteers will be assigned to a hub as Hub Angels to assist with passing out information, maps and providing direction for attendees.
Groups of 6 or more volunteers will be assigned as a Crossing Angel along the route to assist pedestrians get across the route safely.
Shifts:
- ALL DAY: 8:30AM - 4:30PM
- MORNING: 8:30AM - 11:30AM
- AFTERNOON: 11:00AM - 2:00PM
- LATE AFTERNOON: 1:30PM - 4:30PM
- All volunteers receive a CicLAvia Volunteer Shirt
- Snacks and Water Provided!
Perks (Group of 6 or more)

Requirements:
- Training/ Orientation will not be required for individual but is available. Sat. August 1 at Beyond Baroque in Venice
- 14 years or older to volunteer

CicLAvia is a 501c3 non-profit that catalyzes vibrant public spaces, active transportation and good health through car-free street events. CicLAvia engages with people to positively transform our relationship with our communities and with each other. CicLAvia temporarily opens streets across Los Angeles county to all Angelenos to bike, walk, skate, dance, and play. Free to the public, the event turns the streets into a park space that connects diverse portions of the city.
Description
Whether you're 16 or 60, an individual or with a group, there are many ways for CicLAvia fans to donate a few hours to the event.
On the day of the event, enthusiastic supporters help:
-Provide participants with route and activity information
-manage participant traffic at crossing points and hubs
-sign participants up for the CicLAvia mailing list
