If you love to sew and want to work with an organization that helps girls/women stay in school and lead more productive lives, then come and join our Team!!
Days for Girls Cherry Hill, NJ Team is part of the non profit, Days for Girls that makes re useable feminine hygiene kits for girls/women across the globe.
Mission Statement: Every girl in the world deserves education, safety, and dignity. We help girls gain access to quality sustainable feminine hygiene and awareness, by direct distribution of sustainable feminine hygiene kits, by partnering with nonprofits, groups and organizations, by raising awareness, and by helping communities around the world start their own programs. Thanks to a global grassroot network of thousands of volunteers and supporters on 6 continents, we have reached women and girls in 85+ countries on 6 continents. It's working. You can help us reach the rest.
The Cherry Hill Team was started in March of 2015. You can sew with us as a group at a monthly meeting or sew on your own, in your home at your own pace. It is completely up to you to get involved as much as you would like...every little bit helps!! We welcome experienced sewers, newbies and non sewers!!

What is Days for Girls?
Every girl in the world deserves education, safety, and dignity. We help girls gain access to quality sustainable feminine hygiene and awareness, by direct distribution of sustainable feminine hygiene kits, by partnering with nonprofits, groups and organizations, by raising awareness, and by helping communities around the world start their own programs.
You can change a girls life by SEWING!! By making kits and kit components you can change a girls life.
The DfG kit design is the result of feedback from women all over the world. Listening is an approach that results in solutions that work. That's important, because every washable Feminine Hygiene Kit gives back up to 6 months of living in just 3 years of use.* That's 180 days of education, health, safety and dignity.
1 Drawstring bag so she can carry her bag to school. Comfort, style and durability matter because this will be an accessory of hers for up to 3 years.
2 Moisture barrier shields These hold liners comfortably in place while stopping leaks.
8 Absorbent tri fold liners. S oft flannel liners are super absorbent when folded in three and can be layered for extra coverage. Unfolded they are square so they dry fast and wash with very little water, AND girls can dry them without risking taboos.
