Parents Learning Together (PLT) is a St. Louis Arc program that helps parents with intellectual and developmental disabilities learn the skills necessary to safely and successfully raise their children. Once a year, PLT families and staff come together for a celebration picnic! Volunteers are needed to monitor activities, help serve food, play games and spend time with kids, etc. This is a family friendly activity, so volunteers are welcome to bring children over the age of 13.
If you are interested in this activity, please contact Sarah Smith, Coordinator of Volunteers and Community Outreach at volunteer@slarc.org or (314) 817-2234.
