Thank you for taking the time to consider this volunteer opportunity with Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
This opportunity is to gather initial interest from individuals and groups located in the general area of Erie, PA. (This assignment is not located on State Street)
Walk Like MADD is the highly successful signature fundraising event for MADD. But until now we have not had an event in the Erie area. MADD has developed the walk program into one that is volunteer led and volunteer driven locally, with the focus of Drunk Driving Ends Here.
Tentatively, we are considering a walk in the late Spring of 2016 in the Erie area. However we need to reach out and encourage volunteers to step up and form the walk committe, working with the MADD Pennsylvania State Office staff.
At this time we seek volunteers to identify themselves to us so we can follow-up to learn more of your interests so that we can together take the first steps.

Our new mission is to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the vicims of these violent crimes and prevent underage drinking.
To achieve this we need YOUR help, and that of many volunteers in the Greater Philadelphia area... and indeed across the nation.
Description
MADD was founded in 1980 by a small group of women who gathered together for one reason: each one had lost a child because of a drunk driver. Today, it is the largest crime victims' assistance organization in the world with more than 3 million members and supporters. MADD is more than just moms. It is also dads, students, victims and concerned citizens of all ages making a difference where we live and work.
