Our organization is searching for volunteers to lend a hand at the 26th Annual Sunflower State Games in July of 2015. Volunteers are an important key to the success of the Games. Those who generously give their time and energy are greatly appreciated by all participating athletes. Volunteers perform a variety of different tasks depending on the activity. Duties include checking in athletes at registration, timing and score keeping, pre-event preparation, traffic control and much more. All volunteers receive a commemorative t-shirt. Sign up yourself or group to be a part of the largest multi-sports festival in Kansas!
Our critical areas of need for Volunteer assistance include the 5K/10K Road Race, Cycling, Kids Triathlon, Martial Arts and Track/Field. Click the "Register Now" link below to volunteer a single individual. Please note, all volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Description
The Sunflower State Games is a 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to providing a forum that initiates and encourages camaraderie between different ages, socioeconomic and cultural groups through athletic competition. The event promotes the development of healthy lifestyles and physical fitness for the participants, their families and the communities where they live.
The Sunflower State Games is the largest amateur multi sport festival in Kansas conducted annually three weekends in July. Having completed its 25th year, the Games continue to recognize and reward Kansas athletes of all ages and skill levels. The Sunflower State Games are recognized by the U.S. Olympic Committee and is governed by the National Congress of State Games.CAUSE AREAS
