Natural Restorations is teaming with the Coconino Forest Service on Saturday, August 15, 2015, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. to remove trash from the area surrounding Sheep Hill Tank off Forest Road 791 & Historic Route 66, just North of the Arizona Trail, Passage 32a.
*Minimum age requirement for this event: 16 years old. Each volunteer under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Volunteers are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment; this includes closed toe shoes/boots, gloves, and hard hats. If you do not have gloves or a hard hat, please let us know and we can reserve them with the Forest Service for you to use that day. Volunteers should also wear long pants and bring sunscreen. If you have tools, such as a square point shovel, scoop shovel, heavy tine rake, wheel barrow, or trash pinchers, bring them with you.
We are working with the Forest Service to ensure the area is closed to target-shooting during our cleanup to ensure everyone's safety.
Join us for a day of hiking and picking up the trash spread throughout the area. Help us keep Arizona beautiful and have a fun day in the pines with a great group of people.
For more details and to register, please email Nicole at contact@naturalrestorations.org
***We are working on a hotel discount for Natural Restorations Volunteers and will update everyone once we have something in place. We will also post some suggested camping locations soon.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to remove trash, graffiti from outdoor recreation and wilderness areas, revitalize natural areas through replanting projects, and enrich the lives of military veterans and other community members.
Description
We remove trash, graffiti and anything foreign to the environment from outdoor recreation and wilderness areas throughout the state of Arizona. We replant burn scar areas by salvaging cacti that would otherwise be destroyed on construction sites and we transport them to burn scars where our team replants them. We provide contract work to Military Veterans on our Dedicated Restoration Team and host volunteer events for the community, including youth volunteers.
We have a passion for nature and we believe outdoor restorations and education ensures everyone will be able to enjoy outdoor recreation and wilderness areas. We approach every project with a commitment to long-term change and making lasting impacts in communities across the state.
We have removed over 1.5 million pounds of trash (791+ tons), planted over 53,500 trees, plants & cacti, and removed over 42,451 square feet of graffiti. We have provided over 17,400 hours of contract work to military veterans on our Dedicated Restoration Team. We have hosted over 107 volunteer events and completed over 141 restoration projects with our Dedicated Restoration Team.
