We need Transporters to pick up greyhounds being released for adoption from Tucson Greyhound park and take them to our boarding facility or foster home. We also need Transporters to take greyhounds to and from Meet and Greet events at various locations in the Tucson area, veterinarian appointments, another foster homes, etc. There is no set schedule for transport. Members of the transport team are contacted as needed. The frequency will vary depending on how many dogs are released for adoption, how many dogs need transport to the veterinarian, how many fosters need transport to events. Occasionally, we need longer transport to California or Phoenix. Transporters are part of the Operations Team and report to the Operations Director. Training will be provided.

Mission Statement
Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption is an all volunteer, non-profit organization that provides the opportunity to better the lives of ex-racing and rescued greyhounds by finding them loving and qualified forever homes in the Southern Arizona area.
To support this mission, SAGreys identifies caring and responsible homes; rescues sick, injured, and abandoned greyhounds; seeks to return lost greyhounds to their owners; teaches the principles of kindness and humane dog care to children and adults; promotes birth control by neutering or spaying all intake animals; provides pre-adoption health services; provides residential foster care to assist the greyhounds in becoming acclimated to a home environment.
Description
Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption, SA Greys, is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to finding loving forever homes for greyhounds.
We are the new greyhound adoption group in Southern Arizona, with more than 70 veteran greyhound adopters and volunteers. Our members have 5, 10, 15 years experience in greyhound adoption. We have done it all - clean kennels, animal care, meet & greets, foster care, and, of course, adoption. It takes a devoted village of volunteerism to thrive and SA Greys will.
