USA Cares has expanded nationwide. Please help us to raise awareness to the military and veteran families that need our assistance and raise funds to help those families. There are many opportunities available for volunteering from social media to event planning and execution. There are even some spaces available on our state leadership Board. Take this opportunity to be a part of something great and help us build a chapter in your state from the ground floor. All money raised in a state will stay in that state to help local families.

We are looking for volunteers to head up these Chapters and Branches to help spread the mission of USA Cares all over. If you are someone who wants to give back to our military and are looking for an organization who does what they say they are going to do and put the funds where they are suposed to go, this is the organization for you. check us out at www.usacares.org

About USA Cares, Inc

Location:

11760 Commonwealth Drive, Louisville, KY 40299, US

Mission Statement

USA Cares, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) national nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide post-9/11 military veterans, service members and their families with emergency financial assistance and post-service skills training that will create a foundation for long-term stability. Our services improve the quality of life for veterans and their families and reduce potential factors that contribute to veteran suicide.

Description

USA Cares serves to provide military and veteran families of all branches of service with financial support, while offering direction and advice along with a caring attitude. USA Cares typically provides support by way of insuring that the utilities stay connected, food is on the table, a roof remains overhead, the car is in the driveway, and provides job assistance. This is done in the form of grants, not loans. Assistance is paid directly to the service provider that is owed. Administrative Staff contact the family within 24-48 hours to discuss the request in detail. This "In-processing" allows the USA Cares contact to offer immediate guidance on ways the client can help themselves and determine "Cause and Need". This will determine the direction that the Family Resource Coordinator is to take in actually "working" the case. The Family Resource Coordinator insures that all the traditional sources of support from the Military organizations and agencies are exhausted, including local non traditional sources, before any USA Cares funding is considered. USA Cares is funded through the generous contributions of corporations, organizations, and individuals. "A Hand Up, Not a Hand Out" remains our pledge, along with protecting the privacy and dignity of our Military Families. All inquiries are sent directly to the Home Office through the website www.usacares.org or referred to the toll free number 1-800-773-0387
