The Goldenberg Group and Goldenberg Foundation have been committed for the past eight years to creating a positive transformation in Philadelphia. This year we’ve partnered with Stenton Family Manor in an effort to renovate their facility. Stenton Family Manor was founded over forty years ago as a place in which homeless families could find shelter, security and the promise of a future. It offers emergency housing so long as its residents actively seek employment and adhere to the rules determined by the home. The desire is to help aid in the transition from homelessness to independent living.

We need your help in carrying out this project! We will be doing the following tasks over a two-day period:

- Painting the walls of the library and intake room

- Replacing computers and printers in the computer lab

- Cleaning up the outside play area/replacing the swings

- Installing door sweeps on all bedroom doors

If interested, please indicate which day and shift (s) you would like to volunteer.

Thursday, August 6 th - 12:30pm - 4:30pm & 5:30pm - 8:30pm

Tuesday, August 11 th - 9:00am-1:00pm & 1:30pm - 5:00pm
