VOLUNTEERS MUST BE 18+ TO PARTICIPATE.
Description: The Big meets with an elementary or middle school student once per week at their school. During this time, the Big can spend up to 30 minutes helping with school work and the remaining time can be filled with recreational activities such as eating lunch with the Little, making crafts together or playing board games.
Volunteering is not required during winter, spring, or summer breaks so this program is often a great choice for undergraduate and graduate students but all are welcome to apply!
Commitment:
- Commitment to one school year; September 2015 to May 2016
- One hour per week; same time, same day each week for a total of 4 hours per month
