Are you a young person driven by a desire to change the world? Do you see social issues, like discrimination and inequality, and feel your blood boil?
If so, join a youth-hosted weekly program at KYRS! Think On This (www.kyrs.org/shows/think-on-this) airs every Sunday from 2-3 pm. Participate in planning and co-hosting the show while gaining invaluable communications and broadcast experience. No previous radio experience required.
Age range is flexible. The current hosts are high school and early college-age.

Mission Statement
KYRS Thin Air Community Radio fills needs that other media do not, providing programming to diverse communities and unserved or underserved groups. Thin Air Radio provides a forum for neglected perspectives and discussions on important local, national and global issues, reflecting values of peace, social, economic and environmental justice, human rights, democracy, multiculturalism, freedom of expression and social change. Thin Air's arts, cultural, and music programming covers a wide spectrum of expression from traditional to experimental and reflects the diverse cultures Thin Air serves. Thin Air Radio strives for spontaneity and program excellence, both in content and technique.
Description
Thin Air Community Radio is run almost entirely by volunteers from the community, people like you who have a passion for independent music and ideas. All locally produced programs are hosted by volunteers.
