Are you interested in making a difference in your community as well as abroad? Then come volunteer with Medical Teams International!

We need volunteers of all ages, skill sets, and backgrounds to volunteer in our Distribution Center (DC). Our Distribution Center receives donations of medical supplies that our volunteers then sort and pack into shipments to be shared with local community partners as well as sent to our partners around the world. While knowledge of health products is certainly helpful, it is not a requirement and we provide proper training and mentorship of all our volunteers.

By volunteering in the Distribution Center you are directly helping refugees, women & children, and other vulnerable populations by assisting in the provision of life-saving medical supplies.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Boxing and inventorying product
- Pre-sorting medical supplies
- Building and shrink-wrapping pallets
- Completing computer work related to pallets
- Loading shipping containers with product
- Janitorial, including sweeping and mopping floors
- Assist in other areas within the warehouse as needed

Potential Tools and Equipment Used:
- Hand truck/Pallet Jack
- Tape gun
- Shrink wrap machine
- Box Cutter

Desired Minimum Qualifications/Physical Demands:
- Basic awareness of warehouse safety (training provided)
- Able to lift 30 lbs
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Commitment:
- Our volunteers serve for one, 4-hour shift a week M-F mornings from 8am-noon or M-Thu. afternoons from noon-4pm.
- We ask for volunteers to be able to serve once per week for at least three months.
