You can help children in need receive the mental health and development services they need by making sure they can get to us! Help transport children to The Center for appointments and activities from home, school, daycare or other agency appointments. This is an incredibly important service for families without adequate access to transportation, kids with working single parents, and kids in the foster care system.
- Communicate with caregivers and Center staff to schedule pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Ensure the safety of children involved in Center programming.
- Opportunities available during the day and in the evenings; time commitment is flexible.
- Center vehicle provided.

Mission Statement
The mission of The Center for Children and Families is to ensure safety, well-being and permanency for children. We are a merger of three previously independent agencies (Second Chance Homes, Forever Families, and Arrowhead Psychological) working together to serve vulnerable and in-crisis families in our community.
Description
The Center for Children and Families provides services in three areas. The Second Chance Homes Program provides 24-hour staffed sober and supportive transitional housing for families in recovery from substance abuse. Services allow children to remain in parent care while the parent is in recovery and/or to return children more quickly to parental care. The Forever Families Program provides supportive services for foster/adoptive families and also provides supportive/financial services to youth aging out of the foster care system (ages 16-24). Our mental health and clinical services division provides individual neuropsychological assessment, mental health assessments, and parent child bonding assessments for families as well as individual and family mental health services. We also provide a myriad of therapeutic groups including Seeking Safety, Celebrating Families, Circle of Trust, and Transparenting education (for divorcing/separating/co-parenting families). Lastly, the agency often provides community training on the brain chemistry of addiction, team building and trauma informed environments.
