The Plano Balloon Festival, Inc. is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to producing a family oriented, high quality event that offers other local non-profits an opportunity to assist in the operations of the Festival. Our objective is to offer the participating non-profit agencies an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for their programs and services...thus enhancing the quality of life for all of us. Funds are presented to each agency based on the number of volunteers they supply and the area they staffed.
On September 18, 2015 Family Compass volunteers will be working the Prime Parking Lot at Collin College or the Off Site Parking Lot at Plano Centre collecting money from each car, placing a parking sticker on each vehicle, and directing cars to available parking spots. The shift is from 3:30pm until the last car leaves the lot. Each volunteer will receive a three day admission pass to the Festival and a volunteer parking pass for the day they volunteer! We will also provide snacks and drinks!
