Volunteers Needed to Help at the Art Star Craft Bazaar in Asbury Park | July 25 & 26

Are you looking for something to do this summer that helps make the world a little bit better, but can't make a long term commitment?

Move For Hunger, a non-profit hunger-relief organization that works with relocation companies throughout North America to reduce food waste and alleviate hunger in local communities, is looking for outgoing volunteers to help us at the Art Star Craft Bazaar in Asbury Park, New Jersey on Saturday, July 25 from 9am-9pm and Sunday, July 26 from 9am-7pm.

The Art Star Craft Bazaar Asbury Park is an outdoor retail/art craft show that is organized by Philadelphia’s premier indie craft shop and gallery, Art Star. About 50 local and national artists have been chosen to set up shop and sell their wares at Bradley Park, across from the Convention Center, next to the beach and boardwalk in Asbury Park, NJ. Move for Hunger will be on site with an Activity Tent to heighten awareness about food insecurity, but also to have fun with the community.

As an official partner of the Art Star Craft Bazaar, we will be helping with bazaar set-up and take-down each day, along with organizing games and other activities in our Move For Hunger tent during public hours.

The days are long, so we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who are willing to dedicate a minimum of four hours at the Art Star Craft Bazaar.

We have broken the days into the following suggested shifts:

Saturday, July 25: 9am - 1pm OR 1-5pm OR 5-9pm

Sunday, July 26: 9am - 2pm OR 2pm - 7pm

We will provide volunteers with t-shirts, endless jokes, smiling faces, and a general sense of accomplishment - knowing that you are helping us raise awareness about food insecurity and encourage much needed support to continue our fight against hunger in the United States.
