You Can Make a Difference!!
Being a SouthernCare Volunteer can be one of the most rewarding experinces that you will ever have. There are few times in life where you can make such an impact where it is needed most.
What Can You Do?
- Make friendly visits to patient and their families.
- Read to patients, listen and be there for patients who need companionship.
- Run errands for caregivers or sit with patient while caregivers run errands.
- Make a phone call to families just to let them know you are thinking about them.
- Make or deliver special treats to patients for holidays, birthdays, etc.
- Help bereavement services.
- Help in the office with administrative tasks.
