Idaho Botanical Garden

The 562nd Air Force Band, The Band of The West Coast, is coming to the Idaho Botanical Garden for a Free Concert on July 3, 2015. The 562nd Air Force Band will perform with the Boise Community Band to celebrate Independence Day.

Volunteers are needed to assist in creating an exceptional visitor experience for the many guests that are expected for this free community event.

Are you an outgoing positive individual who would like to meet, greet, and assist Veterans, parents, children and the general public enjoy an evening at the beautiful Idaho Botanical Garden? We have volunteer positions waiting for you. Call Karen Christeson at 208-343-8649 for more information.

Volunteer Opportunities include Admissions, Garden Monitors, Membership Information, Roamers, and Set-Up/Takedown.

Description

The Idaho Botanical Garden is a 33 acre garden located just a few minutes from downtown Boise. It was started in 1984 and over the years has bloomed into a wonderful center for education and horticultural displays. Today the Idaho Botanical Garden is made up of 13 specialty gardens which surrounds our guests with its beauty and tranquility. The Garden offers numerous special events throughout the year to excite both the young and old.
