About myLIFE@Emory (for adults with ASD)

Location:

1551 Shoup Court, Decatur, GA 30033, US

Mission Statement

The basic mission of the Emory Autism Center is to help Georgia's individuals, living with an autism spectrum disorder, reach their highest potential.

Description

As an adult, we often take for granted the opportunities to simply choose meaningful activities where we can develop and build relationships and where we are able to learn skills to support adulting behaviors. The goal of the Emory Autism Center's adult program, myLIFE, is to create such opportunities for adults with an autism spectrum disorder.

Engaging activities provide group members with the chance to share interests and practice key social skills involved in successful interactions, to learn important life skills, and to create memories that will last a lifetime.
