Intern/Volunteer Training Coordinator Intern

In this role, the primary responsibility is to identify training needs, develop curriculum and coordinate professionals to deliver courses. The Training Coordinator will evaluate the trainee for effectiveness of training and individual intern growth, and be responsible for development of reporting for measurement of training needs and results.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement annual training schedule and courses for coaches

  • Create highly effective, informative and interactive training courses to equip coaches

  • Prepare course materials

  • Coordinate intern orientation sessions new participants and make sure that they have completed and signed required documents

  • Coordinate and schedule coach training activities throughout the year

  • Manage intern care including internship requirements based on specific College requirements

  • Communicate with director all updates on coach interns in efforts to track progress

  • Provide monthly communication to interns on all updated project progress

  • Assist in distributing surveys coach interns that will aid in evaluating the effectiveness of the internship program.
Education Requirement:
  • Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in the following fields of study: Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Change Management, or Career Development (preferred)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in previously stated fields with minimum of one year related experience
Skills:
  • Prior professional experience in above fields required. Training/coaching experience preferred.

  • Detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skills

  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc).

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Up to date on all current training tools

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple ongoing projects

  • Excellent time management skills
