Our event is a celebration for the teams that take part in Yoshida's Sand in the City. Sand Team members are treated to food and drinks while awards are given out for notable sand sculptures and teams celebrate the day's hard work! Volunteer alcohol monitors are needed to:
Set-up the bar and tables.
Welcome guests (check ID's)
Serve beverages to guests.
Keep area clear of debris, tables clean and food and beverages stocked.
Clean-up/break down bar.
Must be 21+ years old.
Must read and sign OLCC statement on site.
Cannot drink alcohol during your volunteer shift.
Arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of your shift.
You'll be given a volunteer shirt and badge and assigned a Lead Volunteer to explain your tasks.
Light snacks and water will be available in the Volunteer Lounge.
Personal items should remain with you at all times to ensure their safety. Leave purses, backpacks and other large or valuable items at home whenever possible.
We are unable to reimburse parking and transportation expenses.
