Foster Parent Retreats are an opportunity to give back to these caring community members, providing them with a chance to recharge, grow, and network. Presentations at these retreats provide helpful information and continuing education credits while the children enjoy fun activities with volunteers. The foster parents also have a chance to network with one another and TFI staff to share tips, strategies, and spend time with a group of people who understand the challenges they face on a daily basis. While this is happening we need volunteers to help assist with childcare and other activities. Lunch provided!

Description
TFI Family Connections is a private not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides experience, compassion, quality services and care for the children and families. We hold Foster Care Recruitment Contracts with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) throughout most of the State of Oklahoma. As a partner with DHS, we help support families throughout the foster care approval process, during placement and care of children in their homes, and help provide an understanding of the child welfare system.
